Our program is nature immersive with a focus on play based learning for preschool children. WNP combines several teaching doctrines to support the whole child. We firmly believe that children benefit from early exposure to a solid reading and math foundation. We believe this well rounded approach meets the individual needs of all wildflowers.
Meet Kate Hutchins, Spectator to amazement
Hello and welcome to our page. I am the teacher and owner of Wildflower Nature Preschool. I hold a BSN and have practiced as a registered nurse since 2016. My first career was in Early Childhood Education. I worked for several years for a accredited private preschool as a teacher and later as an assistant director. During the pandemic, I homeschooled my oldest child from Pre-K through 1st grade. This work was incredibly challenging and equally rewarding. There is no greater joy than being a spectator to amazement.
